I think you are talking about me so I will address it. How someone gets open does matter. That being said I think everybody agrees he has adequate speed and has the ability to become a game changer at the college level.

AZ, I feel like you said that the dead period is different for players that are EE. Is CWM and company allowed to contact Robinson and try to get him back on board?

I am not really sure what is different for the EE. I think you have to be admitted as an EE for the staff to be able to have some special privileges to talk to them but I am not sure what those privileges are.

That being said the staff can contact any prospect through twitter and facebook and tell them to call them so they are probably still in communication with Robinson. They wont give up until he is on Clemson's campus. I pretty positive the staff will visit Robinson in his hotel room at the Army All American game

So, that's basically three sets of eyeballs evaluating his game, and each is entitled to his own opinion. I think the kid has plenty of burst. I'm not worried about his speed at all. I've seen his 40 time posted in the 4.4-range. That's not slow.

Btw, my last post in this thread wasn't really directed at anyone. We all tend to do that with prospects. I'm guilty of it too. Nobody knows how they'll pan out once they get here.

I would agree he has deceptive speed and he is fluid for his size I have said as much in this thread . He is not running past anybody in SEC on the line of scrimmage. I dont really care about peoples listed 40 times out of high school because most of them are BS. He is not explosive once a DB hits his shoulders to re route him he will slow and it will take him more time to get back up to speed. He needs that added bulk to fight through those things and out muscle DB's.

Neal is a special player you could see he could hit from his initial film the only thing you questioned is if he could cover he proved that in the summer in 7 vs 7. This incoming class will be something to watch on special teams

Neal and Harris are my personal favorites in the class, both are going to be big time run stuffing safeties knocking the ball out and causing fumbles. We are definitely going to make most teams one dimensional on 2nd and 3rd downs!!

I agree. There's no way to tell. At this point, it's seems like he's trying to pass his opinion off as fact. Just because a receiver has D1 ability, if someone's faster he wouldn't outrun them.

They both should be running away from kids in high school they are D1 prospects.

The latter isn't true. Speed and D1 ability are two different things. He can have all the skills in the world but if he's not fast he doesn't run away from players.

Tebowism you actually think Fulwood is an explosive WR? Of course this is all opinion and in my opinion the kid is not explosive. It seems like some people in the "recruiting industry" agree but I guess we all could be wrong. Fulwood could be a 6'4 Percy Harvin at the college level. If you cant tell these things from watching tape why would everybody watch it and use it as the major factor in assessing high school football players?

I think you are confusing fast and explosive with acceleration and backend. He's fast enough to separate himself from tacklers after catching the ball. Whether or not his opponents are going to be playing D1 ball, if he's as slow or not as explosive as you're saying, at least one of the defenders should be able to run him down. He may not have take off speed but it looks like he has it in the backend and I'll take that with a 6'4 wr all day long. Randy moss doesn't come around very often.
