Official Final: Florida-61 vs K State-67, Saturday, 8:00 PM, ESPN2
The Gators will be matching up with their 2nd set of Wildcats within the last week when they travel to K State for a Saturday night game. Kansas State has compiled an 8-2 record with no notable wins on their resume to date. Their 2 losses came at the hands of #2 Michigan 71-57 and #14 Gonzaga 68-52. Still, this team should provide a step up in competition over their last foe and give the team some quality game experience to further hone their skills as we approach SEC play which begins January 9th. The big question to me is how well the team will respond to going on the road to a major college venue once again before the holidays. A win for the Wildcats under their new coach would be a major shot in the arm for their team this year so I think it is fair to assume they will be highly motivated when the Gators come to town.

So bummed. For my Dads birthday we went to Vegas and will be at a show during the game. First one I've missed in almost three years!

I expect a tough game. K State has a new coach, but he is a good one that is "D" first. And he has some tools to work with and a semi-neutral site in his favor. This game will be a tougher test than most of the SEC games we play this year either home or away.

According to my handy-dandy TWC weather tab it is supposed to be cold and clear with 0% chance of precipitation.

Well:
1. In the last couple of years it seems there have been some discussion that teams sometimes play poorly the last game before they break for Christmas.
2. KSU lost to Michigan in NYC by 14 and the Zags in Seattle by 16.
3. KSU beat GW at GW by 3 and beat Delaware in NYC by 3.
4. No one has scored more than 71 points, by Michigan, against KSU

It's not a must win but in terms of helping the Arizona healing, this is a must win.
KSU isn't as good as Arizona but it will be a tough environment against a tough team.

Just to be clear this game is not in Manhattan KS, the home of K State. It is in Kansas City at the Sprint Center. That is about 2 hours from the campus.

I expect a much fuller house there than what we pull in Tampa.

I'm putting the chances we see the tip of our game on ESPN2 at about 0.0001%
