Well, Fowler hadn't shown he wanted to be a Gator very much and we had to turn him late. It isn't as cut and dry as "wanting to be here" versus "not wanting to be here." Plenty of kids are torn on the decision, but that isn't to say they "don't want to be here." This is about their futures, not their favorite team.

Exactly. And when did we all start thinking that 5'11" tall isn't good enough for college receiver. Wasn't Percy 5'11" tall too?

James is not Percy and they want an outside WR

Yes we know there's only one Percy, but I was continuing on a theme that someone else posted first.
I think James Clark has what it takes to get open - he's certainly fast enough.

There is no denying he is a good player but Robinson and Clark are different kinds of players. Florida needs Robinson more than Clark.

Well this, of course, speaks to the inexactness of recruiting. I will concede that having a bigger/taller WR is more the priority for our receiving corp. However, I am convinced from their tapes that Clark is going to be the more successful college player. Therefore, I would rather have Clark. Want!

We already have a Robinson type player in Fulwood.

I think they will both be very successful but I think Robinson is the better football player and a bigger need sometimes we just disagree. What is fun about recruiting we will eventually see what happens

I think they are different type of outside WR's plus Robinson would be ready to step in next year where as Fulwood will not be. Also we already have plenty of slot WR's in this class just nobody as good as Clark IMO.

I want a player that knows that his college decision is his choice and not his coach's choice.

A re-reflipped reflipper is always possible.

It is just not that simple we are talking about kids making a huge decision. They are going to lean on the adults they trust. What if Clark doesnt want to be a Gator ?

I'm not suggesting that it's easy for the kids, but the adults (his parents) need to let him make his own decision and get that coach out of the way. The coach seems to be motivated far too much $$$ about this kids college choice.

I really have no problems with adults being a part of the decision process. I do however have a problem with a coach who seems to have some ulterior motive.

Yes, I meant his parents need to intervene in their son's decision, and they need to take the coach's want$/desire$/motive$ out of the equation.

I dont think his mother has a problem with him going to Clemson. She has been on trips to Clemson ND and Florida. She might also like Clemson and trust the coach. Her brother wanted him to go to ND.

Her brother? The mom's brother?
I just hope the kid isn't a head case, and decides that Florida is what's best for his future in college football.

Marcus Robinson he played in the NFL for the Bears that is Demarcus's uncle. He lives in the Illinois area now and wanted Demarcus to go to ND, he went on the visit with them there. Demarcus doesn't seem like a headcase just a kid torn about a decision I also hope he changes his mind. I think the staff his hoping that as well and that is one of the reasons you haven't seen Clark get his offer yet.

Definitely agree with that last part.
