Any idea what the rules are on eligibility? I remember that Jonathan Mitchell played from 8th grade through 12th grade at Mt. Vernon Academy in New York, which is what allowed him to become that school's all-time leading scorer. What I find surprising with the 5th grader is that there is not a minimum age requirement to play high school basketball in Florida. There was such a requirement in New York when I was growing up.
