2 Weeks, 2 Campus Visits, 2 Decommits

If you check the list on one of the recruit sites, there are a dang lot of players on that list. Yet we lose the vast majority of them each year, even when we end up top five.

If you start out with over a hundred recruits, and end up with 25 or so, did you do well or bad. It all depends on the 25 you got, not the 75 you didn't.

This happens. At least one was only committed to us for 48 hours or so. However, it did sting. I think when all the dust settles that we should be fine.

The Robinson decommit hurts though because he couldve helped us tremendously under the coaching of Joker. However, we will be fine

Recruiting is very up and down. Especially nowadays. Just try not to follow it as close.

I think we have added four in that same time period recruiting is not for the faint of heart happens every year guys change their minds, they are 17- 18 years of age and some of them dont know how to handle all the attention

No sky falling around here. No matter who comes or who goes we'll have a very good class and that's all that matters to me. If we knew of all the near misses and close gets some guys would be jumping off the cliff...relax.

Could not of said it better myself OFMGATOR. Not getting Robinson does hurt but the Gators are going to be just fine. Last time I checked it's not NSD a lot of time to get another top WR. If they don't they still got Fullwood and 3 other good WR's in this class.

What coach does promise is a fair chance to play early, if they believe that player is the best at that position. Some recruits just can't handle having to try that hard for PT. I think this is a great post. Like you say, it's all speculation, but I get that impression that CWM and team aren't in the molly-coddling style of recruitment either. Doubt it will be for everyone's taste and could be a contributing factor. If it is, then good for it - give me a blue collar "work-for-it" team over one with entitlement any day of the week where that talent gap isn't so large. It's a fine balance.

Then again, as has been said elsewhere, UF isn't perfect. Nobody is - tastes, opinions... that's what makes the world go round. So be it!
