First, Morrison had already made body contact, and Manuel was already moving backwards. IF they even touched, the contact was incidental and negligible.

Second, look at that angle; That was the closest he came to his helmet, and you cant' really tell if helmets are touching from that angle. There could very easily be an inch of space between the helmets from that angle that you can't see. Watch the video with that picture beside it.

I may have exaggerated a bit with the tilting of the head. But without a doubt almost all, if not all of the impact was at the shoulder pad level.

I see. I saw several bad calls that seem to have conveniently forgotten about our game against the dogs. You're right though....... I just forgot them too, until you mentioned it.

The SEC issued a statement Dec. 14 that it had completed review of the game.

"Several plays involving both teams were reviewed," the SEC said. "After review, all subsequent action will be handled internally by the two institutions and the conference office is satisfied with their actions."

Last month, SEC coordinator of officials Steve Shaw told Al.com that Dial should have been penalized for his hit on Murray and the officials "missed the call."

I believe Murray had just thrown an interception and was now a potential tackler.
On the interception he became just another Ga player.

Bostic's hit was more worthy of suspension than Dial's. I don't see anyone saying that Bostic should be suspended. (and I don't think that either player should be suspended)

He was head hunting and would have no doubt been suspended if he played for a lower tier program in the SEC. The tradition continues ...
