Funny stuff.

I'm sure you didn't, but 21-8 tells a different story. If they don't call the bs technical against WY then we still win. They missed one Rosario travel, the one where he didn't have the ball and got tackled from behind. It happens.

Come on. Watching the replay, Will clearly earned a technical on that one. The guy was not underneath him and even if he thought he was, that's no reason to do a pull-up on the rim.

Rim tech's are the dumbest rule I've seen. Unless a guy starts doing pull-ups on them then just get on with the game. Refs seem to have zero understanding of physics and concepts like momentum when the make these calls. You don't see techs for flexing like you're in a mr universe contest, but you do when someone's on the rim half a second too long.

The point is, Will knows the rules and he probably would have been fine if he just hung on the rim if he was worried about the guy being underneath him. It was the pull-up that got him the tech.

We just got back from the game in Tucson. Great Bball environment. All fans nice before game. Some very obnoxious fans after game, They were also riding high their BIG win over Nevada in bowl game. As a spectator we felt calls were a bit against us. U of A fans and a couple of our close friends felt differently of course. Overall, I think this helps us more than it helps them. A good team should win against a good team at home, and they did barely.

I thought that there was some home cooking, but nothing egregious. This loss will (hopefully) help us in the long run. It's not like we were going to go undefeated this season. We lost, on the road, to perhaps the best team we will face all season (regular season, anyway). We need to learn from Muschamp how to: "OVERCOME ADVERSITY ON THE COURT"!!!

I'm one of the old guys on this board but even though I hate crying about a loss I have to admit the officiating was terrible...the ncaa needs to watch this game and hand out some penalty for the officiating.
