D'ernest wants to come to florida, but I don't think the coaches have given him the green light yet, but as far as his speed, the kid has got speed, he ran a 4.44 and then 4.53 at one of Edgerrin's camps during the summer this past yr, and he is right at 187 lbs when he stepped on the scale at the field house just the other day.

They are recruiting him as a wr, and told him that there is a chance he could play QB if things shake out.

Really? I would like to see him at Florida honestly... Just adding some speed like players with some power can only be a good thing... It's like shake and bake...

I dont think he has a ton of shake and bake he is a nice back but not sure he will get a commitable offer from any of the big 3 in Florida.

My personal Board would be
1 Collins
2 DE
3 Smythe
4 DB
The staff's board probably is
1 DE
2 Ramesy Alexander Smythe Collins Tunsil Adams Treadwell...... Basically any top player left that wants to jump on board first
Down to our last 2 or 3 spots

I'm starting to suspect you are the reincarnation of a very knowledgable poster who was kicked off the forums several months ago. Please don't piss off the mods. You are the current MVP (Most Valuable Poster).
Speaking of "he whose name cannot be spoken," why don't you take a crack at a final projected class.

Hmmm you might be right Strange.

So you don't think Swanson is in the coaches radar anymore. Nor I he on your radar. Interesting

He is on the radar as well but he has got to show he has the grades. Also it might be hard to give the last spot to a fullback. With the amount of DE's they are going after they will take one. If you look at this class there is no pass rusher yet.

I agree. And actually even last year with Fowler and Bullard, I would say there wasn't an elite type pass rusher there either. They are great athletes, more well rounded ends, and can pass rush, but they are not pass rushing specialists. I would say Powell was the last one recruited specifically for that purpose, so hopefully his ACL gets better

Fowler is suppose to be an elite pass rusher(Buck). You really cant ask for much more out of a freshmen who did not enroll early. Dante needs to lose some weight.

I don't see that happening. I see him moving inside eventually. He is going to be a big dude.

Quinn and CWM said he is staying at Buck. He was carrying some bad weight which Dillman should get off him in the off season.

He is supposed to announce at the Army game, and as far as D'ernest goes, he will end up at a good school, he may just end up at cincy, but with all the studs that we have coming in this yr, I honestly don't think we will get one of the big time rbs in the state next yr, which will make room for him. I'm calling it now, he and J.C. will have stand out yrs next yr.

Him choosing at the AA doesn't seem like a good sign for Florida. Even if me missed on the big time kids I would think a guy like Adam Choice would be ahead of D' Earnest. I think JC and D'earnest will have great years next year as well.
