Is it time for the next game yet?
Seriously, I am TICKED. Get our guys back on the court already. I hope they are ready to rip some heads off after that robbery/slash meltdown

I'm more mad the refs kept Zona in this game than anything else. At the end of the game, mistakes happen but to keep a team in a game for so long like that pisses me off. We were CLEARLY the better team and pretty much dominated most of the game until the refs felt like we would go on a run, then they call fake fouls on us. Swallow their whistle when Zona mugs us....
The only other thing I wonder is why on earth didn't Billy use the timeout?

Refs aside, losing the game like that has to leave a sour taste in their mouths. Florida needs to rip a bloody swathe through the weak SEC this season

Not even being a hater or anything, Zona is not a top 10 team. I would be surprised if they stayed in the top 25 throughout the year. How good/bad is their conference?

I agree with no timeout, especially with an experienced team like ours. Let them try to get a basket in the chaos instead of calling a timeout after they cross half-court with about 4 seconds left. I don't like our chances in-bounding the ball with 4 seconds left against a set defense. Plus, not to mention the difficulties we had at the end of the game in-bounding the ball.

yeah, the no time out thing has worked for us in the past. I remember beating Scar at the last minute, and Billy never called a TO.

We will terrorize an ultra-soft SEC this year. Just gonna have to get past this one

the good thing about this sour taste of a loss --- it wasn't in the Elite 8 like the last 2 that felt this way.
Always hate losing like that, but this is nothing compared to those.

Yup..one pt loss to what might be our toughest opponent this year...on their court. Hurts right now, but the team will learn from it.

Well we have SE Louisiana, K-Stare, Air Force and Yale before the SEC kicks off, plenty of time to shake this one off, I feel a Cajun ass kicking coming soon

wednesday's the next game. eager to get back on the court too. but i think we'll be hitting the practice court plenty, in the meantime, for some inbound play practice/end of game situational sets.
i have no issue w/ the no time-out call. but we were a bit helter-skelter at the end. first time this season we've been in that situation. might need to practice it a bit. but the way we 'struggled' making a basic inbound pass against pressure, i wouldn't want to call the time out either and have yet another inbound pass play!

WERD...don't even get me started on that Butler game. I love Brad Stevens, but that was a friggin' ref hosejob of monumental proportions. This loss means nothing compared to that.
