Early enrollees and Trenton Brown
Do we know the list( Ivey, Harris, and Sherit) and is the big JC lineman ours? Also I assume some of the other JUCO's could come in January.

McMillian, Cummings & the OLine are the most important early entries as they must be ready for the fall.

I can see Cummings because we are so thin at tackle, but why McMillan or the offensive line? Between the two transfers and the returnees, I don't think our offensive line is in desperate need of JUCO or freshman reinforcements. Brown is sort of a bonus because of his tremendous size.

JUCOs are almost always EEs.
Would love to see Fullwood get in early. He's got size and speed, but isn't as polished enough to expect to contribute as a freshman. Getting him in for spring could make all the difference.

we need another LB to play next season and challenge Mike Taylor either J Powell or McMillan

Is that assuming Jenkins doesn't return? If he does, seems like Morrison has a shot at the Mike spot.

I think Jenkins returns ( I hope) we still need depth and somebody to challenge Taylor for playing time because he did not play to well last year

So, my post requires some clarification.
1) WR is by far the weakest position, so yes, it would have been great to get them in early to try and compete for time in the fall. But my post was in reference to picking out the players out of the group that IS enrolling early that is the most important.
2) McMillian is important because he is the most physically developed of the FR coming in at LB. LB is important because we lose Bostic and J. Jenkins could jump early, so we need another FR to have a season = to what Morrison did this year. He enrolled early. Maybe Bryan Cox moves from DE to MLB to add depth with the return of Powell.
3) OLine because talent is not the most critical element. Having them GEL is what makes them effective. Nixon and Wilson are gone, so there will be some new faces. Coach Champ loved the heavy set using 6-7 OLinemen and with Patchen a question mark, Moore and Brown could be regulars in the rotation and for sure in the heavy set.
Hope that clears up some critics of my post

I've always heard WR is one of the positions a player can contribute the earliest, so maybe it's not critical to be an EE ?

All of the WR's we have committed need work in a certain area especially their body. Also Florida is only losing Hines and Hammon so its hard to beat out the rest of the WR core with just fall camp.

McMillan will play a lot next year. Watch his video. He is college ready. He and Hargreaves will play week one. Book it. Brown should start. Wish is was September already.

WRs will develop. Dunbar is already there. Look out for Patton, Pittman and Andrades. Alli and Debose could finally show up. Lots of guys at other positions who could contribute at WR, plus a lot of young talent coming up at TE.

I think our LB rotation will be fine w/o having to rely on any freshmen.
MLB - Morrison/Taylor
WLB - Jenkins/Kitchens
SLB - Powell/Ball
Plus Fowler and Ajagbe could get PT at LB.
