Now I know we always complain about how Duke gets preferential treatment from the officials. But today really shows how serious the issue is, Temple is yet to shoot a FT and Duke has shot 24. The thing about it is, Duke gets foul calls on them, but not while Temple is driving to the basket, no just touch fouls other places that dont hurt Duke. Plumlee and Kelly mug people inside and nothing gets called. I cant stand Temple either, but this is ridiculous.

I was going to post about this too. That's what concerns me if UF has to fact them in the dance. With our lack of depth on the front line, our bigs would spend a lot of time on the bench.

These officials should be ashamed of themselves..this is the time to get fined if I was a coach or AD.

I just turned the game on. I know refs can favor one team over another, but I also think teams can play two different ways and end up with a natural discrepancy (of course a UK fan would think this, right?). Is it really just lopsided officiating or styles of play here? Honest question I haven't been watching.

lopsided officiating..28 fts to 3...Temple was driving alot and not getting calls...so starting chucking 3s..they were actually playing much the same style. Amazing how Plumless seems to never foul

Thx for the answer. Sad though. Is it just me, or is this Duke team particularly unlikable. I don't always hate Duke either. Can't stand the look on Quinn Cook's face 90% of the time. Never been a Curry fan. Can't stand a team full of flopping white guys either (thats every year though). They're good though. I'm impressed with Plumlee especially - great college big man.

For UF, I'd rather face Indiana than Duke. Hopefully we will #1 seed collide against IU in the final four and hold off on Duke til the finals

I think you guys match up well with either team. If you look at the best teams out there, I don't see any of the composition that tend to give you guys trouble. Think you match up well with any of the top group of teams.

In another thread, I had mentioned that if both Murphy and Young both get into foul trouble that we can be heavily exploited by the right team.

Duke I think is that team......moreso than Indiana. That's why if you factor in the "ref situation" I don't like our prospects against them. I don't think our small lineup would be effective against Duke. In fact, I think that they would kill it.
