Lane received "Player of the Game" award. Had over 200 yards. Short interview at game's end. Said he wore RG3 socks, whatever that means. WH off to a 4-0 start.

Lane Runs Wild In 6A-10 Thriller!
"Lane, a Florida commit, played consistently well all game long but went beast mode when his team needed him the most in the fourth. He scored the game-winner with 8:43 left on a 4 yard run that rounded out a 9 play, 80 yard drive. On that drive Lane broke away for runs of 29 and and 26 yards.
He also had and 80 yard TD run in the 1st quarter and a 54 yarder to put Winter Haven in scoring position in the 2nd.
'There's a lot of times I wonder how he does some of the things he does. But he had a heck of a night for us.' - Winter Haven head coach, Charlie Tate."

Great news. Any stats available on Adam for this season? I saw that he had done very well in some jamborees in the preseason. I think it's significant to see how he does down the stretch playing big school programs while Taylor and Henry light it up against small schools and smaller players

It was just one year ago today, January 21, 2012, that RB Adam Lane of Winter Haven High School became the First 2013 Commitment to the Florida Gators! 
As far as I know the young man has never wavered from his commitment.

Kids aren't always such a bad thing. We got Fred Taylor plus his son who was about a year old when Fred signed for UF, hopefully the best package deal in school history.
