I always wonder what coaches say to each other at the end of games. Usually, a "good game, coach" comment will do.
But what about a game like last night?
Billy is an honest, forthright guy, and doesn't bash other coaches. Does he go up to Hamilton and say "Good game, coach" when both know it's a huge freaking lie?
Does he say, "Tough night, coach, but you'll get better and possibly win a game soon."
If he's honest, he says "Your team makes me want to vomit."
Does he try to find something complimentary to say? "Nice tie, Leonard. Matches your bloodshot eyes."
Is he consoling? "Lenny...I think someone needs a hug!"
Does he give him something to worry about? "I look forward to playing you guys again next year, on OUR court."
Does he change the subject entirely? "Leonard, what do think about the situation in Syria?"
Feel free to add your post-game coaches exchange...
What Billy probably said: "Tough night for you guys, but I can see they'll improve as the season goes on."
What I would have said: "Dude! Your team is a hot mess!"

From the way Hamilton was rubbing his temples at the end of the game it looked like he had a massive headache. He may not have heard a word Billy said.
Hey coach, don't be embarrassed that your team only scored 47 points. That's about average for the year against us. Just look on the bright side. Every other team will be easier by comparison and you don't have to play power house Mercer again!
"Leonard, your guys certainly seemed to give it all they had. We really played well this evening, which made you look worse than you should have looked."
