^I hope either of you are right.
It may be ubderstated a bit in the article, but I think Terrance Shannon is key to fsu, and a player the gators will need to control.

agree w/ the 5 keys. good article.
Rosario needs to have a quality game on both ends, imo. i think he might be a key to our success. need him to have a good defensive game and hit some outside shots and also be agressive driving to the rim.
w/out the pick and pop from murphy - in the halfcourt what are some of the other sets we can have success? i always like the ole classics from kruger, especially if the opposition is in man - like the baseline weaves - w/ KB and Rosario, and some classic screens and curls - again w/ KB and Rosario.

Good points . . .especially regarding mike going to the hoop.
I also think it will be telling how this game is officiated. FSU plays defense kinda like UT did under Bruce. They will extend, pressure, bump and slap. As alluded to... they have been killed at the ft line in their losses. I think this will be an important factor.

All good points, but the note on three point shooting is especially pertinent. Donovan preaches that as relentlessly as any coach I have ever seen and with a week of prep time I can only imagine he has harped on it every practice. If they even get a couple of poorly defended looks to go do down, he will be quick to use a timeout and make a change defensively. FSU is far more dependent on the three to date than in year's past, so a good showing there by us will be the difference.
If Murphy is in the lineup and can play effectively, then I think we go longer the majority of the game with Yeguete and Murphy at the three to cover White. I could also see us using some 2-3 out of that look to bait FSU into taking a few ill-advised threes.

Could have been a 40 pt win if we wanted. As it is, held them their lowest total ever at their gym.
And we played the younger guys.
