Murphy hurt?
One web site is reporting he has a hip pointer and might not play Wednesday.

Yes, he got a hip pointer in the Marquette game, but whether he will be able to play or not, I certainly don't know.

He wasn't able to practice today, so it's a wait-and-see thing. If he can't practice tomorrow, I doubt he'll play.
"Man down, man up," as Will Muschamp says.

When it comes to basketball players like Murphy and his unique skill set...it's like a Porsche.
'There is no substitute'.

Come on. If he's a porche, then Christian drejer was a lamborghini. We've never replaced his skills.

We can't afford to lose big men with our current depth. Guess we'll see a lot of Prather at the 4.

I'd HATE to not have him but rather him miss FSU and get him back for Arizona. It'll be a lot tougher without him but we have a better chance winning without him at FSU than at Arizona.

Drejer was more like a Fiat.
Limited warranty and poor acceleration.

All I know is last time he was injured, didn't practice, and was ready just in time for the game, he went something like 10 for 10 from the field. I say rest him until the day of the game, and if he can go, let him go.

Florida should be able to handle FSU with Young, Yuguete, & Prather. Even though the Seminoles have three 7-footers on their roster, they are little used so far. FSU seems to rely mostly upon a couple of 6-8 guys in the interior. Perhaps Murphy makes a brief appearance in this game if he practices tomorrow. For depth purposes,
Florida could use Larson's return if he decides to change his mind in the Spring.

Picture Larry Bird driving a Porsche...then you have an idea of Murphy's skill level.

He was getting over a migraine. Quite a difference between a migraine and a hip pointer.

I am going to guess WY plays the 4 and Prather plays the 3.

My guess is that UF starts Wilbekin, Boynton, Rosario, Yeguete and Young. Prather backs up the two big slots and Frazier backs up the 3 perimeter slots.

Yeguete starts at the four, but Prather will have to play the four exclusively. You have 80 minutes at the two post spots to split between Young, Yeguete, and Prather. You really can't afford to let Prather play any three.

Right by back up the two big slots for Prather, he has to be the four with either Young or Yeguete at the five. So they each must play about 26 or so minutes with Yeguete split even between the two positions.
Similarly Frazier is not going to sub in at the one, but will likely sub in at the two or three when Boynton goes to the one.

At first they were saying he had flu-like symptons (headache, nausea) but Murphy, himself, later said it was a migraine.
