This kind of an FSU team is not good for UF IMO. If we win its not a good win, but if we lose to them it will be bad loss. And they will all of a sudden play out of their minds against us.

Former major leaguer Barry Larkin's son in playing with the Seminoles. Missed that one.

You're right. I got my "other Florida teams" mixed up. Thanks for the correction!

Wow, them folk up in Tally must be on suicide watch between their football and basketball programs!
Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch.

When is the last time we went into Tallahassee and blew FSU out? It's been a long time.
I think anyone expecting a blowout has the O&B glasses on. These are the type of games that underdogs shoot lights out and the crowd gets rocking.
That being said, I hope it's a blowout!

I'm planning on going to the game, my first in Tally. I want 1st level seats, can get then for $50 on Stubhub now but does anyone know how available they might be outside at the game? Obviously there will be tickets available but I don't have a frame of reference for how many or the pricing.

FSU will be pumped for us. When he wants to, Hamilton can get his "athletes" to run and play defense like maniacs. Problem is they can't score much unless they're throwing up prayers and hitting them. Should be a fun game. Beating them in the two biggest sports in Tallycraphole would be awesome.

Sure they'll be pumped up on Wednesday.

I and doubt it will do them any good regardless. UF has them totally out-matched this year. UF should win this going away by 15 or more.

I'll try to make it, but don't know if I can. Got a mother going into out-patient surgery this week.

Noles very erratic on offense and not a great defensive team either. they'll probably play better Weds., but I think we handle them.
Mid majors seem to be winning at the highest clip I have ever remembered. looks like a lot of parity in much of the NCAA, could set up for well for UF. Should be an interesting tournament, many upsets.

FSU does stuff like this almost every year. They have awful early season losses, play their asses off against UF, another bad loss, beat Duke, lose to UVA, beat UNC.
Rinse, wash repeat....

Illinois-Chicago is a pretty solid team in their own right, and Mercer was missing their best player with an injury for that game and several others to start the year. I wouldn't necessarily agree with BEngerman that they're "really good", but they're not a bad team either.
I think Wednesday night's game will be a good test for where our guys' heads are at right now - FSU shouldn't be able to win this on paper, but crazy stuff happens over there sometimes. I'm hoping for a pretty hostile environment and a pumped-up Nole team to give us some good preparation for the trip to Arizona next week.
