Gators are the best looking team so far!
I haven't seen every team play but we look better than any other top team so far. It's a long season but I do know what I am talking about.

This was a great win as Marquete is considered an NCAA team and expected to finish 4th in the 15 member Big East. I expect UK will learn how to play college basketball together in the 2nd half of the sason. Gators are looking good.

No doubt we're looking good and I'm really excited about this team, but it's hard not to say Duke is looking the best with wins over 3 top 5-10 teams: Louisville, UK and osu.

Florida is looking great - no doubt. Hard to say anyone's looked better than Duke and Indiana though. Right now I'd put you guys with Duke, UL and Indiana as the top group.

The Gators look like a top contender so far, but if you think they look better than every top team, you clearly didn't watch Indiana take apart Carolina the other night.

Definitely some strong competition out there. Did anyone watch Indiana dismantle UNC? And meanwhile Duke has beaten three final 4 contenders. And UL did put a thumping our new friends from Missouri. If Florida keeps up the path of destruction over its next two games, I'd be ready to put them up in the top tier with these guys.

Nice. Kids always say that sort of thing, but Boynton is a pretty quiet kid not prone to exaggeration in hi interviews, so it could be his legitimate assessment.
In many respects, this team reminds me of the Syracuse group that beat us so badly a couple years back. We don't quite have a single guy as productive as Wesley Johnson was, but in terms of inside-out balance offensively, length, versatility, experience, and effectiveness defensively and on the glass, this team is pretty similar. Their group didn't have a real natural point guard, with Jardine coming off the bench, but it had tremendous size and physicality in the backcourt like us. They had versatility to go big with Johnson or Joseph at the three or small with them at then four, as we can across the front with Yeguete able to play three positions, Murphy spacing the floor at the five, Prather at the four, or Rosario at the three. They had outstanding veteran leadership from upperclassmen like Rautins, Jackson, Onuaku, and Johnson. They could run their offense through the low blocks with Onuaku and Johnson or through the high post with Johnson or Joseph, but they could also shoot well from the arc and get up the floor in transition.
Still early and we will have to see how things play out. It is hard not to see a ton of potential in this team, especially given the down year it is.

After the one and done spectacle last year, Donovan is showing Calipari what college basketball is meant to be. This might be a really really fun year.

Other than Duke and Indiana, nobody has looked as impressive as we have. I love Billy Donovan. People say that Spurrier is the greatest coach UF has ever had, but in my books, it is Billy D.

For once, things are playing out as I predicted. I said preseason we would be much better than advertised and UK would be much worse than advertised. I think we are the best team in the SEC this year and will be top 4 overall by the end of the season. Duke has surprised me the most this year. Not with the win over UK, I thought they should have won by more. But there other wins and game play have been impressive. Then there is Indiana which is gonna be the team to beat this year IMHO.

Billy is just an impressive person and a coach. Couldn't be prouder to have him as our coach. NO doubt! We're up there in the ranks it seems, but I gotta admit, just what little bit I saw of the Indiana and Duke's latest games, they were VERY bloody impressive. I couldn't believe how they ripped up the heavy teams they played. incrediible!

We have three good road tests coming up. We get past them and I will proclaim them as Final Four lock, barring we stay injury free with our key players.

Barring injury or illness, we look like a Final 4 team. This squad doesn't resemble the makeup of our two national title teams, but the similarities are there...depth, balance, rebounding, 3-point shooting, and defense. Not quite the same length, but very athletic.
If Murphy can play, I think we whip both FSU and Arizona on the road.

We did lose our best TEAM player last year but he is back this year, we would have won it all if he was available...WY!
