Win over Wisconsin not looking so hot
Just finished watching Badgers lose to Virginia. 4-3 record now makes our win over a #22 ranked Badger team not look as good as it did a couple of weeks ago.

Wisky looked bad today. Michigan State lost to Miami too. Big Ten coughing up the Challenge.

Considering Wisky is stuck in mud, we aren't playing Georgetown, and FSU has looked pretty bad, our OOC is taking a bit of a hit. Thank goodness we scheduled so many tough ones since some won't work out like we hoped on Selection Sunday.

Well, the fact that a 6-man UCF team managed 66 points against the tough Gator defense when they were playing for the first time with both defensive stalwarts Wilbekin and Prather in the game, indicates that the early season was not as tough as it appeared.
To me, the fact that Ogbuze and Rosario are making a lot of mistakes is not a good sign.
This may not be as good a team as we thought.

The next three games will tell us a lot about this team.

The Badgers are not a real good team right now, but I wouldn't read too much into to it.
UF dominated the game with them, so I don't see how it detracts from UF. Maybe not a great win, but nothing else, imo.
I really like this team and still think this team has got more potential than our last great 8 teams. Time will tell.

Well, we scheduled tough. It's not our fault the opponents aren't holding up their end.
I do think that Marquette and Arizona will look great on our resume at the end of the year (as long as we beat them).

Bad loss to Virginia, but it's early. If Wisconsin doesn't at least turn it around to end up as an upper tier B10 team and in the tournament...well it'd be the very first time in the over a decade Bo Ryan has been there. They need their inexperienced guards to grow up quick w/ their PG out for the year.

Wisky doesn't matter to us at this point.

Why is anyone making an issue of this? This team is starting to look like a 5-6 loss team at years end. That basically guarantees us no worse than a 3 seed in the tourney.
Plus, we will compete for both the SEC regular season and tourney title. We could very well end up with a 2 seed, maybe better.
This team is not going to have to worry about NCAA tournament seeding. We'll get a good spot.

Definitely agree it is not a "worry" by any means, but you still would prefer your non-con schedule to perform well obviously. Whether it be the difference between making the tourney or not, being an 8 seed or a 6 seed, or being a 2 or a 3 it still has an impact.
I think it'll all work out just fine - partially because Gators look extremely good, partially because they have plenty of challenging games on the schedule (they're not ALL going to underperform), and partially because it's way to early to read a ton into opponents' records. Last year A&M was believed to be a pretty solid early season win, but they went on to finish under .500 and I believe were well outside the RPI top 100. I don't see Wisconsin tanking like that, even if they have a bit of a down year by their standards. That's all.
