Ok, just checking the sarcasm meter. Btw, I do agree on Reed, wish he would get the ball a lot more. Not sure that will happen even if he stays. Hope Im wrong.

Every year, every top teams loses key players either to graduation, transfer, or professional football.
Every year, people ask the same question: "Can we make up for the losses next year?"
Every year, the ultimate answer is the same: "Depends on how well new or replacement players perform and how well coaches coach."
Of course, having an easy schedule helps a lot. Frank Broyles, when he was at Arkansas, back in the days of 10 game seasons, always said: "People don't remember the teams you beat, but they always remember the teams you lost to." So, he would always schedule a cream puff non-conference schedule. Now, playing in a conference like the Big 10, Big East, Big 12, ACC, Pac 12 and such, assures that you play a cream puff schedule, unless you have an SEC interstate rival (like FSU, Clemson & Ga Tech).
I'm honestly not sure that the Big 12 is as wimpy as those other conferences, but it is a far cry from the SEC, although Tex A&M certainly did well this year. Of course, if they had been playing in the Big 12 they would have been Undefeated with no game closer than perhaps 20-30 points.

Are you kidding me? This is a great young team. Muschamp quote" We will be good for a
long time". He is building a program and a model that will prevail year after year.

No, I surely did not think at the start of the season we would be 11-1 at the end. When you think of our loss to ga, we were the better team... the entire season we turn the ball over 11 times and 6 of those in the ga game (forgive me if my stats are wrong) which was highly uncharacteristic of this UF Team. All that being said, we were very close to being 12-0. Yes, if I were a betting man I would have lost.

I expect to Floyd to leave early and he and Omar will be missed.
DT depth is the only position I am concerned about for next year

About 2013
It has become obvious that freshmen rarely contribute until strength conditioning and learning plays become ingrained ---that is, overcoming hesitancy and thinking too much instead of knowing and reacting.
Some freshman RB's and WR's can sometimes overcome the usual time it takes for most QB's, OL/DL's, LB's and DB's to develop their skills.
However, on offense, we have 1-2 good wideouts and running backs coming that might overcome the normal tendency of redshirting since they could be really good!
C'mon Gators!
