I see both Showers and Gorman playing next year. There are so many things that you have to know to play safety at Florida I cant see freshmen beating those two out. Remember Showers and Gorman were highly rated recruits out of high school as well. Riggs plays a lot when healthy.
Yeah, Showers plays a pretty good amount each game. He sees time at safety and also ST... When he is on the field I do tend to see him around the ball quite often. He's only a RS freshman and he already contributes so I don't see him leaving. Heck he might even take Evans place next year if he gets more physical in the off season. As for Gorman, he seems like he could be a pretty good player, i just don't remember seeing too much of him. Is he being redshirted or is he just playing ST only?

Showers and Gorman should play plenty next year. Gorman is not red shirting.
Who do you see starting opposite of Elam next year?
I am not sure we will just have to wait until the spring. There are so many options for that spot next year. I expect to see more rotation than ever there. I am still not sure Elam comes back.

I agree I would be shocked if Elam or Floyd came back. Im not even sure Easley is coming back. Sure would love to have them though.
Right now it for North it looks like 1 UNC 2 VOLS 3 Florida 4 Clemson 3 and 4 could flip flop. And yes the Vols are a head of Florida even without a coach. The family will wait and see who the VOLS hire.
Looks good. Strong tackling and hitting skills. Closing speed decent but Harris seems quicker to the ball from 10 yrds further back, but he's a linebacker. Looks like a tweener b/w ILB and OLB

went over to Volnation to read more about thier coacing search. While I was over there read that Jason Carr "Officially visiting Alabama, Florida, and Ole Miss in the coming weeks. He's trying to decide if he wants to visit Knoxville or Tuscaloosa this weekend."
Not sure how true it is but as I said in another thread he is the only kid I can see us going after
If North isn't convinced at this point that UF is a better situation than Tennessee, it's difficult for me to imagine what can possibly make that case to him. The coaches aren't allowed to throw up their hands in frustration and stop recruiting Marquez, so I'm sure they'll give it the ol' college try. But it seems obvious that fans shouldn't have any sort of hope that North will sign here.

I dont think anybody expects North to pick Florida at this point. The right WR coach might be able to get his fathers attention though.
Have you heard of James Clark, WR from New Smyrna? If so, is he any good and does he have a chance of making into this class as the last receiver?
Yes I have heard of Jamses Clark I really do like what he brings to the table probably more than Chris Thompson or Bailey, but I am not sure the staff would take him . Florida needs immediate help not someone that wont be able to contribute until year 2 or 3. Immediate help comes from a top 10 WR or the JUCO ranks. I think you will see some JUCO names start to pop up over the next few weeks.

Dang!! That kid is so smooth! Do the coaches just like Thompson and Bailey better than him? I agree with you and the need for JUCO or a top 10 WR. Thanks for writing me back!

Well we haven't seen Thompson or Bailey's Sr film yet either. I am not sure if James Clark camped and how he performed if he did. Chris Thompson earned his spot at camp. Alvin Bailey was the best player on one of the best teams in the country last year. From watching James film it looks like somebody is going to get a big time football player
