I hope he puts a bunch of hats on a table and then at the last minute pulls a hidden hat from underneath the table and puts it on, that would be soooo...epic!

If Tunsil wants to start at LT then Georgia is out cause Theus is the starter there and he's a true Freshmen. With Alabama they have SO named Cyrus Kouandjio. So looking at all three teams, good luck on starting for either as a true fresh. Might have to look at RT or another team, but will take him if he wants to come here.

They have all promised him he would start as a freshman...why would they lie about that?

John Theus starts at right tackle. Kenarious Gates, a junior, starts at left tackle.

Even the best true freshman tackles all have trouble starting in the SEC because they're usually not strong or big enough.
Nixon, who has been pretty average all year has still started over Humphries (#1 OT last year).
I doubt that Tunsil starts next year but he doesn't want to come here and sit behind Humphries for two-three years when he can start at Georgia in two years and get good playtime next year.

He basically said that back on Sept 9th. No surprise here.
"After his team’s 17-14 loss to Gainesville High School on Thursday, Tunsil revealed he has trimmed his three finalists from the summer to a Top 2 of Georgia and Alabama.
Florida’s fall in the race has been known for over a month, though this was the first time he said it publicly. The Gators remain in the running but are no longer a favorite for the nation’s No. 1 offensive tackle.
“They’re still at that third spot,” Tunsil said of the Gators. “But right now I have a Top 2.”

I don't see the recruiting bump from Muschamp that we had under Urban or any other new coach should get at a place like UF. We will need a start studded class on Offense or the talent gap will become wider. Defense seems to be doing OK.

Then the issue is that you cannot see.

Back burner? I never thought we were even on the stove.
These kids seem to go elsewhere. Reinard Wilson went to F$U and ended up with a handicap sticker for his brand new Gold Lexus. This was reported in the Flambeau, F$U's student newspaper, but of course nothing happened?
Still wondering?

It's already the best RB class we've had in years. Even though there's only one certifiable "star," I like the WRs, good speed, only one guy less than 6'2". We're probably not done there. We're one or two OL from having a great freshman class. Even if we came up short with OL, the transfers would more than make up the difference. Between the guys we already have and the transfers, we have an outstanding group of new offensive players coming in.
Muschamp isn't a flashy coach, nor is he a flashy recruiter. Only reason we have the #1 running back and the #1 corner in the country is because Muschamp had watched them play for two or more seasons. He'd identified them long before the rankings came out. If we end up with a top three class, it's because the recruiting services finally catch up with him in their evaluations.

Georgia and Alabama are the top two teams in the conference. It is totally understandable why his choice would come down to one of those two schools. I just hope that when we win the conference next year recruits utilize the same rationale.

I still think were better than UGA if we played them like we played LSU. I'm not too sure what happened after that. OL injuries are part of it but the whole offense regressed it seems like.

Are we trying to sign this guy or are we done with the OL? He is the number 1 OT and he is from FL. He is also still undecided per espn.
Ugh. I was in the recruiting forum when I posted this. I don't know how it ended up here. LOL

He doesn't want to be a Gator and that's good enough for me. Gator Bait!
