Grades vs. 'Bama St.
Due to the utter domination (posting this at halftime) there will be no grades for the game vs. Alabama State.

How about the Freshmen.
According to the Box scores, all 4 played between 18 and 23 minutes.
In that time, they shot a combined 1 of 12 from 3 point land, however, Frazier got 6 rebounds, and Walker 4. The starters, however, were 7 of 12 from 3-point land, with Boynton 4-4.
More turnovers than assists for the freshmen, however, not a lot of either. Oh, and Walker got a block.
Apparently, even given the very weak competition, they played a lot like Freshmen.
Kurtz played 4 minutes.

If they rebounded and played defense well that is what Billy wants from them.
If their shots didn't fall from three he's not concerned as long as they were good shot selections.
Woe to them if they were quick jacks.

Just one game of course, but the two less heralded freshmen (Walker and Graham) actually looked better than the other two. Very pleasantly surprised at the quickness, length, and activity both Graham and Walker showed on defense. Graham had several steals and/or deflected passes and consistently kept his man in front of him. He also showed good court awareness on offense on that give-and-go with Murphy, but tough to say much about his ball-handling or shooting as he didn't get the ball much. Walker was very active as well defensively and showed nice ball-handling skills at times on offense. Shot looked decent. Maybe it's just my personal taste, but not a fan of the shoot first pass rarely mentality Braxton showed--again, this is just one game, but he managed to get off 8 shots and turned it over twice with no assists. Frazier has nice form, but his release is a bit slower than ideal and he was also a bit careless with the ball at times. On the positive side, l really liked how he attacked the glass. Just my two cents.

More complete breakdown appreciated, I didn't see the game.
