Hate the JUCO route but sometimes you just can;t help but do it when numbers catch you off guard.
We have to get two more DT's in this class IMO, and really clean up in the 2014 class.

why would Florida need to "clean up in 2014"?

It being this late in the season and have UT and UNC as your leaders, to me doesn't bode well for UF come NSD...anything can happen though!

I could use some mentoring here. We have had a great season and on defense we should look good to any recruit. Why we having trouble when, aside from Bama, we look as good as any team in the conference?

I am confused where do you think we are having trouble in recruiting? We are top 5 in every recruiting service

Probably because some gator fans think that anything below #1 recruiting class/winning a national title every year is not good enough.

I understand that we are top 5 in rankings; however, is it wrong of me to be a little concerned that we don't seem to be able to land the impact weapon on offense that we desperately need?
Also, I have question hopefully someone can answer. How good is Kelvin Taylor? I've heard that he is good getting to the hole, but lacks the ability to pull away from defenders. Is their a recent college player that he can be compared to? I'm not old enough to remember football past '04 haha

We are lacking that home run threat on offense but those guys are really hard to get and there are only a few of them.
Kelvin Taylor is the best 5 yard back in the country. He has great vision balance power and an excellent jump cut. He is not a home run threat. Player to compare him to is hard maybe Mark Ingram.

Thanks! I understand that those home run players can be difficult to come by...I feel like our offense, from now on, is going to be loaded with consistent, reliable players. That will allow them to make big plays because Pease will put them in a position to succeed.

I like your comparison to Mark Ingram and Kelvin Taylor, and I think we have another Rb in Adam Lane that will be just like the Rb from Tampa Bay in Doug Martin.

go youtube his videos... not that hard to find out for yourself. He has the best vision and cutting ability we've seen in years. Not a 4.4 burner type of guy, but he wil play early and often. No concerns about the RB position for years to come. Brown, Jones, Taylor and Lane... loaded.
I think your concern is misplaced.. WR is where we have come up short the past 2-3 classes.

Just imagine if we had a Cooper that Alabama had last night.
Or a Swopes that TAMU had...
Some of our guys have got to really step up.
I expected more out of Hammonds this year.
Perhaps I am not seeing the whole picture.
Does Hammond have enough time to get to his spot?
Are the routes being run with exactness?
What about Pittman?... Dunbar?

yeah we should be good to go at RB, and I agree that WR is the concern. It's asking a lot for a freshman to come in, like Fulwood and Bailey, and contribute big time....but I'm really hoping that things work out well and fast for Fulwood. Is either one an EE?
I too was hoping for more production this year from our WR position, but unfortunately it is what it is.....and that includes thoughts about the OL. We'll see what it's lookin' like come spring.
Taylor, Jones, Brown and Lane is nice a stable of backs!

So with Dooley getting fired do we have a chance at any of their recruits or leaning UT recruits?

We might give DE Jason Carr a look. WR Marquez North was a heavy Vol lean he plans to visit Florida again but as of right now North Carolina probably leads since they can complete a forward pass.

Haha. I know man. We need to find a way in the fsu game to get the vertical passing game going. It may give recruits hope. I know we have a good wr corp coming in.
