Noah off to a good start
23 points, 10 boards and five steals against Sacramento in a 93-87 win. He also had three assists, three blocks and was 11 for 12 from the line. Big night for Boozer, not much from Deng. Little disappointed in Capt. Kirk with just three points, but he did have seven assists. Interesting to see how this team comes together until Rose comes back, or doesn't. Love this team.

Quite a stat line for Joakim. He was hurt most of last season; this season's gonna be his breakout year.

First Bull since Jordan in 97 to have a stat line like that. I know a lot of people are writing them off without D Rose but if this team can hold the line until he returns they could be dangerous again come playoff time.

The main thing with Jo that night, is that there was no question who was leading that team. He was composed, vocal and set the tone for the rest of the team, leading by example in every way he could.

great game last night for Jo. Thought with a line like that he'd be near the top of the PER rankings, but I think Hollinger's PER doesn't correctly account for steals and blocks. Regardless, he was a force on D and definitely improving his offense. Great to see.

Decent game in the loss, but it's obvious now that he has to be the team leader while Derrick is gone. 11 boards is great, but 11 points wasn't enough, even with a good game from Hamilton and Deng. I don't know if it was shot selection or just bad shooting. I see a great season ahead for him.

I grew up on the Southside of Chicago and was a steelworker there in the early to mid-1970's while working my way through college. Jo would fit right in. He is all "lunchpail" in his work ethic and his approach to the game. He would have been a hero with the laborers that I knew and about 70% were white.
I really hope Jo gets a couple of NBA rings playing in Chicago.

What about Boozer? Overpriced disappointment?

This is great to see. A great Gator who helped give us two championships when he could have left for millions after the first one.

Still hoping and waiting, but probably so. Wish they could have worked out that trade for Pau Galsol.
