Isaiah Canaan, Murray State, 6-1, senior, 43 (19.0 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 3.6 apg, 45.6 3-pt fg pct)

Deshaun Thomas, Ohio State, 6-7, junior, 26 (15.9 ppg, 5.4 rpg, 52.0 fg pct)

Until the one and done rule doesn't exist (meaning that players could skip college altogether) its absolutely pointless to do these projections without including freshmen in the voting. I'm not saying it changes much this year, but its ridiculous most years.

They either get a technical for having too many men on the floor or they will get severely winded when playing a team that has 8 or 9 guys in the rotation...

I think there are some voters who have publicly stated that they will not vote for a Freshman.

Seems like there is a pretty clear bias favoring the Midwest in those votes.

I mean, when 3 of 6 come from Big 10 teams, that seems a bit absurd, and Creighton is in Omaha (Nebraska), so, that is 4 of 6.

Lehigh is in Pennsylvania while Murray State is the lone Southern School, in Kentucky. But really, 4 of 6 from the Midwest, ZERO (zero from the West), Kentucky is almost Midwest, so essentially none from the South, and none from the Atlantic Coast or Big East Area.

I mean, really.

I have to assume that all of the votes came from people in the geographical middle of the country.

Stop being a spoiled sport. Big Blue nation is still expected to make the NCAA's.
