heard that also I don't like that he's planning on going twice but he seems like a really solid commit so I wouldn't be too worried since we stuck with him through the ACL injury so that's gotta help a lot.

If he flipped, this would be one of the biggest recruiting slaps in the face of all time

Not really... I can think of other examples that are way worse. I am skeptical at this point, I think he has a small chance to flip, but I think it's _highly_ unlikely. Though, tOSU only has 1 WR committed, what happens when Urban offers Taj Williams and Reggie Davis? I don't think that will happen either, but hey, stranger things have happened.
Edit: He also had a big night. 3 INT's... 1 called back tho, but still, 2 INT's from a LB any day is a win.

If he visits twice he's looking.
By the way, I have been using Scout to look up prospects/commits/rankings and all of a sudden my links resolve at foxsportsnext.com. Do not like.

Ya. I am not a scout fan, nor have I ever been. But I am hearing that scout sucked so bad that it's now been merged to foxsports to kind of give it a "reboot"... but if all they are doing is dropping that scout name, then its going to be met with more failure. They need competent writers and site organizers.

I didn't read forums there, only used the database, which was the best in the business. I had "commits, search, prospects" links saved on Firefox toolbar. So with a couple clicks I could easily get to info about a prospect, review another team's commits, and review other team's past classes.
This new site seems to scream "pay or ----- off".

I hope so but sometimes if you fall in love you overlook certain things that come back to haunt when it is too late. But yeah, hopefully January and their obnoxious fan base will make him miss home before he makes that mistake.

Urban, Mcmallian, Powell and now Herns? Why the obsession with our recruits?

They're all from Florida. Urban isn't dumb, he knows he's tapped into the pipeline... Expect him to be a threat for any recruit here on out. Most of Louisville's team, under Charlie Strong, is filled with Florida kids. tOSU is a bigger pull, so I will say the names they pick up will be bigger. They already have one of our best in-state talents in Joey Bosa.
Team's like Florida, FSU, Miami and to a lesser extent USF, UCF, FIU, etc., will _always_ fill most of their roster with Florida kids. That will never change. But I wouldn't count out teams who are lead by coaches who have made a mark in Florida. Strong has done a great job to recruit Florida and get a lot of talent... but I think Meyer will be more precise and calculating... he'll go after BIG names in the years to come, he just won't fill up on them as most of his roster will be coming from Ohio and Michigan.
What WE have going for us now is the ability to not only recruit from Florida, which is already heavily contested between UF, FSU, Miami, USF, Alabama, LSU, Georgia, etc. etc. etc., but we can also go into places like Georgia, The Carolina's, and even to the West Coast to pull talent from other programs.

I assume Meyer sees the same thing in Hearns and some of our other guys that Muschamp did. You know, that these guys are good players. Coaches like good players. Good players win games. Wins let coaches keep their jobs.

Let Hearns go play for that soft football team Meyer uses.
Come to Florida if you wanna play real men football.

Stupid comment. Dont be naive to believe weather doesn't play a factor.
