He could step right in for Floyd or Hunter. I don't know any program that offers so much for a JUCO DT.

Just keep him out of Georgia! But I do not believe it will be easy.

With Brantley looking, and Gilmore a coin flip, I think the staff is just doing its best to not be short on an area of need. I think it just shows us how important the Dline is. We have to have a good two deep in order to keep the guys fresh like we are doing this yr. As well as realize that the Juco guys are more physically developed in most situation than high school kids coming in.

Otherwise known as a coach that players like, but doesn't win.

No chance. He is still deciding whether to visit Miami or Florida because he has never been to Florida. That hardly sounds like someone seriously considering us.

That's like choosing between Disney and the local Fair... and I don't mean the good fair, I mean that crappy one that the church has every year.

That's the point he has never been here. Hopefully out O&B girls can convince him that maybe Florida is the place he'd wanna live. If muschamp doesn't convince him of course.

“I think I want to go to places that I’ve never seen before,” Johnson said. “I’ve never been to California so I might end up going to USC. I’ve never been to Florida so I might end up taking a visit to Florida or Miami. I want to go to places that I probably won’t ever see. I’m hoping to take all five visits.”
= No chance. He will go to UGA. I would not waste the money involved with alowwing him to vitit.

Agree with AZ, we appear to be late to the party.
What strikes me from the article is if Georgia has to replace three starting DTs why they holding off on Kelsey Griffin? Maybe hoping to get Mont Adams? Yes I know he might not be SEC ready as a FR but he's still a talent and if they stock the roster with JUCOs and miss the guys that will likely be studs in two seasons they are still in the same boat but replacing JUCOs.
Their DL class already has five and their class has 27 commits already. I suppose that doesn't matter to a guy coming in just because he probably can start for the next two seasons.
I wonder how many more georgia can take this year... wonder how many they get to count back to last year's class of 20?

UT has a very good relationship with a very talented Hutchinson group right now.

Georgia already has 3 dt's for this class. Georgia said no to Riles earlier in the year actually they stopped picking up their phone for his calls.
As of right now Johnson and Adams are at the top of their board if they miss on them they might let Griffin in the class.
in other news Adams will be in the SWAMP for the Florida vs LSU game

Awesome news on Adams, hope he shows. I think our depth chart is as appealing as anyone's, especially given that the guy's leaving are probably moving on to the NFL.
I imagine Antonio Riles doesn't think a whole lot of UGA's staff these days. Wonder what the deal is with Griffin, a lot of talent but still needs some development? He camped with us, surprised we're not more active with him, or if he's just waiting around hoping Georgia gives him an offer.

we made Riles wait too but I pretty sure we didnt stop picking up the phone. Last week M North and Von Bell tried to call the staff to set up visits and the could not get in contact with the staff either I guess thats how the Dawgs do biz when they have other people higher on te board.
Nothing is wrong with Griffin that I know of UGA is just higher on two other prospects. Griffin would have been in the class if he would have committed say in the spring.
