Brantley is a pure DT, but Riles and Ivey are tweeners. I think we'd take another DT as one of those guys will probably play SSDE. We need another 280 plus type, better yet, someone who can play NT. We lost a big DT in the last class and the only other incoming freshman moved to offense. We only have Jacobs for one more year. Floyd and Easley could both be gone by next fall.

I am pretty confident we would take another DT or DE. Gilmore is visiting this weekend and we are still going after Walker and Bostwick. Ivey and Riles will probably grow into DT so the staff is not panicking but they would like to take another top talent on the Dline,
Georgia already has 3 DT in this class and they also have Adams and a big JUCO on their board I think its crazy not to take Griffin right now but maybe he will wait. They also said no to Riles earlier in the year.
Nobody will really know why Georgia told him no until Monday when he talks to the staff again.

Leon McQuay III made an unofficial to the Swamp today. He will also be at the FSU vs Clemson game.

Anybody heard anything yet of what Ramsey and Gilmore thought today of the game or if they were impressed?

I would love to see him in this class. Seems like a great kid and he comes from a great football family. I know Harris is higher on our board, but he's not sold on the Gators yet. We gotta treat this kid like he's special. Mostly because he is.

I think he grew up a fan. Besides nobody going to the stadium I really dont see why a kid would not want to go to Miami. Sanction dont scare some kids it just means more playing time for them. I hope Florida can find a way to get one out of the Walker, Gilmore Bostwick group its doesn't look too good though.

I think these next couple games will be statement games for the recruits we need...were not the same team we were the last couple years. A couple top notch d lineman for us is crucial on my opinion. That's what makes Alabama so tough, there talent and depth chart. Champ has us in the right direction.

Gatoraz, do we know who's visiting for the LSU game? Should be a huge weekend, I would think.

everybody... Should be a huge weekend. Whats great about having a class that is not from all over the country is Gator commits get to come hangout with each other so often.
I haven't looked for a list yet since its early. I hope Walker and 2014 QB recruit Will Greir make it.

I expect it to be mostly class of 2014 prospects. Not a lot of spots left for '13and the coaches seem to be shifting some focus to the next class. Having a small group of '13 prospects will allow the coaches more quality time with each one. That would give us a better chance of closing on a couple of them.

DE Jason Hatcher from TN who is a USCw commit is planning on taking an official visit to Florida. USC is telling commits its ok to take visits as long as they get the last official. Jason can really get after the passer.

After seeing what Morrison can do and his pretty weak offer list I'm happy with who Mushamp goes after.
