I agree with everything you said...all I am saying is with John Theus definitely taking a tackle spot, who is more likely to take the other tackle spot- Tunsil, out of high school, or Brown/godzilla. They are telling Tunsil everything he wants to hear to get him to commit. He's going to be the featured pulling left tackle (not guard) and be tight end and running back if he wants as well, and we will move this guy who is probably the best JUCO left tackle at guard just so you can be the pulling tackle and running back on the same play...

Sorry, just got your edit, and again, I agree. If I were Georgia what You said is exactly what i would do with Theus, Tunsil, and Brown. But the fact that Tunsil believes the garbage they are spewing moving brown to guard is ridiculous.

Why in the world would ANY team... college or Pro... move a 6' 8" to Offensive Guard?????????
To utterly prove my point:
Show me ONE college out of the 117 teams out there...anywhere... that has an Offensive Guard over 6' 6" or even 6' 7".
Raaiiight!

Although he competes with Patchan as most wounded gator of the past decade, so his lack of career starts is mostly out of his control

Injuries had nothing to do with that, either.

I think that we will find those rare cases where a team has a guard that is over 6' 6"... but, once again... those are true rarities.
A guard has got to be able to raise up his head, get his head past the center and PULL on a tackle or linebacker.
Not an easy thing to do when you are 6' 8".
And... whenever someone THAT tall does do it... it tips off the defensive linemen and backers very quickly as to exactly what the offense is doing.
80% of all pulling techniques is based upon the element of speed and surprise.
Anyone who has played defensive tackle and then, gets blindsided by a pulling guard know what I am tawkin' about.

I understand he's been hurt a lot during his stay in Gville. Point is, even when healthy he hasn't been dominating like a 5* should be. I'm not trying to be a downer or disrepect our players, but other than Tebow and Harvin how many of our 5* recruits have actually played like 5* recruits the past 6/7 years?

Do you want the time they played for us, or after they left, because some of those five star guys have done pretty well so far in the NFL, David Nelson for one, and sounds like Deonte "NO HANDS" Thompson is going to make a impact on the ravens. As far as while they were here, not many to answer your question.
