Handheld GPS units?
I didn't see another thread on on this. I'm trying to research handheld GPS units. I have very little experience with them, so I'm not sure what I need. It will be used for Hiking mostly in the N.GA. mountains, general outdoor use and maybe some geocaching, by my dad and me. I was looking at the Garmin units. Do the handheld ones come with maps already loaded or do you have to load them yourself from their website? Any recommendations on a good unit to start with, will be appreciated!
