With his size, strength, agressiveness, vision and moves, he can win the Heisman at 4.6. A legitimate 4.6 is moving. Look at these NFL combine times. How many "4.3" guys run a 4.52 at the combine?
What did Errict Rhett run at the combine, 4.67? Rhett would burst into the clear and get caught from behind all day, but the key is, he would burst into the clear. A bunch of 8-15 yard runs pile up in a hurry. I am really looking forward to seeing this guy play for us.

I'm still SO STOKED to have Kelvin. His cuts, vision, toughness, everything is just incredible. And he is showing out at camps so far! AND he is a really firm commit. YES

Everybody who expects him to be just like his dad needs to see this clip and any others like it. No knock on Fred, because he was a great back, but Kelvin is much better developed at this stage than his dad was. Fred was a glider. Kelvin wasn't born with the same God given speed, so he's learned to fight his way upfield.

That's what I'm talking about. He's not a freak of nature. Rather, he's all running back.

I love the way he keeps his center of gravity low. That was as responsible as his sheer size advantage for so many defenders just bouncing off him. Watch the way his feet keep moving through the hole and how easily he's able to shift his weight before the hits come. We haven't seen a RB like that for a looooooong time.

With good vision, strength & a low center of gravity speed is not as important as one would think. Emmitt was never projected as a "can't miss" and look what he did. With Taylor,Lane, Mack Brown, Matt Jones and Joyer in the wings we should have a devastating running game for the forseeable future. This year will be good to something different in the Swamp sounds good to me.

Remember, he'll be hitting the field about 16 years later, and physical development techniques and practices in this sport have advanced much more than where they were then. He'll probably be somewhere as big as his dad by his jr. year IMO.

Fred was 6'1" and close to 220 in high school. Also ran a 10.5 100m. Kelvin might gain that much weight, but won't ever be that fast.

Kelvin is 5'11 and already over 215. He won't be that fast but he has better instincts than Fred had at this point.

Kelvin seems to be a more serious player than his dad was at this early juncture. SOS and Fred had some serious disagreements that resulted in lost playing time during Fred's early years.

someone earlier posted KT lacks explosiveness and started talking about 40 time or some such.
By watching him in games live the last few years I can tell you KT has explosiveness at the snap of the ball. He is beast mode explosive from the snap and when he makes moves. His moves aren't the 'pretty' moves of a Noel Devine. His moves are power moves not 'pretty' moves. which means that as he's doing the move and when he's coming out of a move anybody trying to tackle him might as well be trying to tackle a runaway freight-train or a bull. He doesn't shake defenders like a toreador dodging a bull. He is more a bucking bull in a rodeo throwing cowboys onto their asses.

All I have to know about Kelvin are two things. 1) He's Fred's son. 2) Saban wanted him BADLY as a feature back in his offense.

You sure he's 215? Would be nice but he looks 10-15lbs smaller than Deeb who is listed at 215 scout, 237 rivals. Just asking, really hoping he's going to be a 220+RB.
What was the purpose of the drill? If just to get past your man, that was a terrible move by Deeb. He should have kept going but tried to spin and that's when KT show how quick and strong his legs are. Deeb really looked kind of "unathletic" on that single play.

I know for a fact he was 216 pounds a few weeks ago.
