Well, I can see where if you lost four inches off your arms you'd gain it back after resuming training. That's a case of muscle memory. But even so four inches is stupendous, not only to gain that much but to lose that much.

Seems I did misunderstand you, I thought you lost the weight on P90X while gaining the size. That not being the case it makes more sense.

I actually decided to post my weekly weight, I think it will help me with motivation.

Day 1: 228
Day 7: 224

I know diet is the most important thing and I cheated a little on Super Bowl Sunday lol. I drank a coke but I stayed away from beer and all the food!

The 8th and 9th days I have seen a nice improvement in my strength. I am taking in around 100-115 grams of protein a day. Anyways I will be updating again on the 13th.

Good idea on posting regularly. I posted updates everyday on my day one thread and it was great for me really kept me on track with my diet and exercise at the time. And now its kind of fun to look back and remind myself what I did.

Applaud your attention to detail, tech. One thing: I'm not big on the concept of 'cheating.' Cheating implies you've done something bad. Eating the foods you enjoy is not bad.

Granted, some of the foods you enjoy have lots of calories. That's one of the reasons they're so yummy. But you're not evil if you eat them. You're just evil if you don't eat them sparingly or reduce portion size.

Haha, nice thinking. I have only drank 2 glasses of OJ, 2 glasses of milk, and 1 coke since I started on the 31st. I used to basically only drink tea and coke so I am trying to completely stop that for a while.
