Good original concept being over milked, don't expect too much different in core fundamentals of game. If you haven't played previous assassins creeds the story may not make sense. But if you have played previous games you know what to expect.

Game is very similar (core mechanics) to Batman Arkham City. I would recommend Batman before assassins creed unless you really really want a game set in exotic locations with a complicated storyline. Very similar in gameplay but arkham city is amazing

If you liked AC2 and Brotherhood, you'll like it. If not, you won't.

Yep, I agree. The only issue I had with Revelations was they felt they needed to add some new gameplay mechanics/sequences that just didn't make sense and weren't much fun. But, the fundamental gameplay is still fantastic and I love the story, characters (except Desmond, boring dude), and environments.

That being said, Arkham City is fantastic. That is a must play.
