Any chance on getting an app for the HP Touchpad? If it's too much trouble no biggie. I can load the complete site from the browser. Go Gators!

Since in all likelihood Web OS is dead, it would seem silly to develop something for it.

Put Android on that thing already.

Is that safe? I would assume it voids the warranty. Have you yourself or someone you know installed android on the touchpad? Thanks.

It's safe as long as you validate the MD5 on the files you download and dont do something dumb like unplug it in the middle of flashing the new OS or something like that, and even then chances are it isn't borked as long as the bootloader is intact. Flashing these devices is relatively painless, and nearly always reversible in the event you have a warranty issue.
