I'm certainly not advocating gluttony. So we agree there.

I'd be interested to see from where you're pulling your "too much paleo food is inflammatory" argument. Many studies on overconsumption are focused on a typical western diet, which is carb heavy. Heavy carbs result in elevated blood glucose (more than we need for cellular fuel) - which is clearly linked with inflammation. So over-consuming carbs is definitely problematic, which typically happens on a western diet regardless of the total overall intake.
