I didn't see the game when Alabama played Arkansas, but did the Arkansas D-line have any success getting to the Bama qb like they did to Tebow (in the 1st half) today?

I'm not saying I am sad we won, I am thrilled that we won. I am just beyond concerned what is going on with this offense. I am also concerned that we made a huge mistake with making Addazio our OL. You can be both happy that you won the game and concerned at the same time.

I'm afraid it might have been one of those situations that he was the next guy in line after Mullen, and since he's been doing a good job with the OL, he was rewarded the position. If we made a big deal about looking outside the UF campus for a new OC, he might've gotten pissed.

Agreed - there's no reason to call for crow-eating for criticizing a performance like this. We did a hell of a lot of things wrong today and benefitted greatly from some questionable calls.
that said, let's just enjoy the win and the (still) undefeated season! Go Gators!

Not as much, but they did put some pressure on him. Bama won primarily on turnovers. Their offense was not extremely effective either. Worked with a short field a lot.

We all know that all we're going to hear next week from the media, bloggers, and the haters is how the referees gave us the game with the two penalties at the end of the game. I thought the interference call was close and could have gone either way. I assume the second one was for taunting, it looked like the Arkansas player mouthed off after the play was over. Does anyone know for sure what the call was for ? It surely wasn't for the hit he put on our guy since our guy was trying to block him.

Had to watch the end on Tivo due to dinner with the inlaws
Riley was Doering-esque on that last drive. I was waiting all game for someone to step up. Thankfully someone finally did (besides Caleb that is).

Did anyone check the replay to see if Mallett was over the line of scrimmage when he threw that long TD?

Not sure which game you are thinking of, but Bama crushed Arky. They rolled up 425 total yards and scored 35 points, and only forced 1 turnover. McElroy threw for almost 300 yds and 3 TDs. Also, Georgia scored 52 on this team (which is ranked dead last in the SEC in defense).
WE on the other hand looked abysmal on offense against the league's worst D. Poor OL play, and Tim as usual had no one to throw to most of the game (interestingly, Meyer in the post-game said our O is not designed to hold the ball that long and put the sacks on WRs not getting open in time). I thought it was a combo of poor protection and WRs not getting open, but whichever, Tebow had to run for his life again. Once again, our TE was our leading receiver, and that is a problem. We survived today but need to fix these problems asap- we can't afford to keep putting so much pressure on our defense.
(cue the pollyanas who will respond "how dare you criticize the Gators, hey a win is a win, defense wins championships, or some other nonsense, simply for pointing out the obvious.) We all love the Gators, but our passing offense is anemic.
