HOW many of you are concerned with our offense as of now? Can we go undefeated and fulfill the dream with this offense? I hope our "run it down the mouth of the opponent" football leads to a "make a big play and deliver the knockout blow" offense as well.
Im worried, but keep waiting for that big breakout offensive performance...hopefully its this week vs Ark. Gators will be ready, there is no trap, we need to mix up the playbook and stretch the field, i m a little worried with the lack of variation on offense.

Heading to the game this weekend?!?
If you’re going to be at the game this Saturday stop by the CBS College Sports Network SEC Tailgate.
Starting at 11am across from the stadium (between Gates 1 & 2) we will have free giveaways, temporary tattoos, cheer cards, activities, and more.
We will be broadcasting a LIVE show from 2-3pm ET hosted by Phil Fulmer from the studio, Dave Baker and Lauren Shehadi with special guest Reidel Anthony.
Join Coach Fulmer, Dave Baker and Reidel Anthony for pre-game analysis, interviews, and a taste of everything that makes college football in the south the best in the country.
And if you can’t make it to the Tailgate, be sure to watch the show on CBS College Sports Network from 2-3pm ET. Go to cbscollegesports.com to find out what channel we’re on in your area.

There is a TV game rerun of Auburn-Arkansas at noontime.

Scot Loeffler was Mallett's QB coach at Michigan 2 years ago.

Arkie may have a pretty good offense, but this is the Gator D they're facing and if their RB Micheal Smith can't get on track, it will take any semblance of balance away from the Hogs' offense and Mallet will be a target in the pocket for the Gator pass rush.
Take Smith out of the equation and Arkie gets blown out in this game.
This could be another five sack performance for the Gator D this weekend, and if they contain Smith and jump out early and make Arkie have to play catch-up, the UF secondary could be making several picks.
The Gators' physical, ball-control offense will keep the Arkie O on the sidelines and out of rhythem while wearing down the Hog defense.

We appreciate that and are expecting some good playcalling from the G15 household.
I will be watching the Arky coaches to see if I can pick up some plays. I read lips. If I get any, I'll post 'em.

I spent the entire 2006 season reading posts like these, "When are we gonna break out on offense?", but we never really did until the last two games of the season.
We looked good the first two games and then the flu and injury bug hit us for a couple of weeks.
We went nuts on O and blew out a decent Uk team but Tebow got hurt.
Against LSU, with tebow at maybe 80%, we played it extremely conservative and used the RB's, D, and special teams to make it easy on a recovering Tebow.
Personally, I think we already "broke out" against UK so-to-speak, but we've just had some bad luck with the flu and injuries.

Yup!
By now they're pretty much healed and should be fresh ready for the Ark game so let's see how our offense fares especially our passing/receiving. It appeared like we were out of sync a bit last Saturday in the red zones... rather unusual though LSU did their job well in their red zone defenses.
I'm also curious how the Ark offense goes against our defense as well our offense's performance too. Ark offense seamlessly scored and scored against Auburn that I watched the TV game rerun yesterday... already 20-0 by ten minutes remaining in the second quarter. I wasn't sure how good Auburn defense was though their defense is no like ours, ofc. Mallet is so tall and could oversee his receivers out in the field easily.

Mind you, I'm not expecting 50+ points unless Arkie turns the ball over several times, a couple of times on their side of the field, but I do expect at least 31 - 35 offensive points in this game against a defense like Arkansas'.

I don't see how anyone can't have at least a little concern. Four times with first and goal against LSU, 6 points. But I have to think we've got a better passing attack than we've shown and this is the game in which to show it. However, I'll take a win, any win, blowout, close game, 1 pass and 50 rushes, D scores all the points, whatever, just win.

Florida's defense is too good, and our offense will run up some points - both passing and running.

Wow!
The Gators have gone from a 22 point favorite last Monday to a 25 point favorite on Friday!
Now that is a lot of points to be favored over an SEC opponent! Even if it is a home game!

Arkansas is not last years Oklahoma and Mallet is not Sam Bradford. Some of you need to drink a beer and relax. Everyone LOVES to point out the Ole Miss game last year. However noone evers wants to talk about what happened after Ole Miss. Specifically all the fainting goats that talked about how our offense was terrible, how we would lose more then 4 games, how Dan Mullen couldnt coach his way out of a closet.
Or how about how before EVERY game their was a crowd of worry worts that said "USCe is the best defense we have faced, we need to take them seriously" then "Kentucky is for real this year we need to take them seriously" then "Georgia was #1 in the preseason we won't be able to blow them out" and then " we need to not overlook FSU"
Seriously, same thing before every game, every year. Some people just like to worry. Grab a beer and a comfy spot on your couch and just enjoy watching the game. And have a little faith.
