Maybe so, but Brandon James looked like a little smurf with an overgrown marshmellow on his head. Not James fault though--we can blame Nike for thoses .."things".

I think they are extremely fugly. Thanks for the $$$ Nike, but leave our uni's alone. Let the also ran programs dress up like arena league teams. Or High School teams.

I cannot believe that so many people liked them. Were you in the stands or watching on TV? Get a close up look at the ghey Spider-Man webbing on the shoulders, and then tell me what you think.

I saw one in the bookstore after the FIU game and I actually asked the clerk "this is a joke, right?" But unfortunately not.

Fine for Phil Knight's personal football team out in Oregon, but not for the University of Florida. We don't need to be gimmicky, in fact why change the unis at all?

I thought Meyer was big on tradition, starting new ones like the Gator Walk. So what's with throwing out an old one (the orange Gator helmet with script) for no reason? If money is the reason, then why not charge admission to attend the Gator Walk? That would be a nice hunk of change.

E-mailed Jeremy Foley this morning and asked him directly about the white helmets, and he replied they are not here to stay. He said the players asked to wear them for the SECCG.

So bye-bye Q-tip white helmets.

Hey, it's not that hard to get in touch with AD Jeremy Foley. I usually e-mail him a couple of times a year and he always replies within a very short time. I like that he tries to answer his e-mails and answer fans' questions.

We're lucky to have him at UF.
