Here we go . . .

It was a great weekend for our team and we found out a lot about ourselves.

We had some emotional and physical lag. It was not a pretty game and we did not play great, but we had a level of resiliancy.

The pressure did not create alot of turnover, but changed flow. What walker and boynton do on the front of press is really impressive.

It was great to see Erv and Kenny knock down some shots .WE shot the ball a bit better tonite and had fewer turnovers.

It was not a great defensive performance. A lot of breakdowns. WE were a step slow so we played a bit more zone in 2nd half.

I had a good feeling about this team at start of practice... energy, maturirty and the bond.

I saw us revert a bit in the first half and I asked our guys "what team are we? Are we the team that beat Michigan State last night?". But we corrected it and that was great to see.

Although they did seem to be tired as I mentioned in the game thread, the second half they appeared to have worked through it and played considerably better.

Sounds like Beal is going to announce a Gator verbal next week as well. The St. Louis connection of Lee and Tyus continues with Beal coming our way. Go Gators!
