Their QB nutted up and lead them down the field late in the 4th quarter to beat their hated rival and keep their MNC chances alive. Maybe he didn't play great all game or all season, but that was a pressure backed drive that was on his shoulders. He delivered. He deserves some kudos for that.

That doesn't mean he can do the same against Florida. But guess what? They were playing Auburn and not Florida. He delivered in that situation.

You guys should lighten up. Barring a loss today, Florida will be favored next week, as you should be. There will be no "sneaking up" on Bama since you guys have #1 splotched on your backs, so stop feigning the role of the victimized underdog here. I certainly don't view every compliment of Florida as a slap to our face, and I can't for the life of me understand why so many on this board seem to feel slighted everytime ESPN mentions us.
Well put. It was pretty much the Tebow edition of Gameday today, I don't understand why people are getting upset over one comment about Bama. I hope you understand not all Gator fans are naive enough to think the media is out to get us.

What, it takes a visitor to make a well-reasoned post?!
Thank God WE aren't playing next week!

Can't wait for mark May and others on ESPN to start their Bama love fests and say how Bama is too physical and say we don't have skill guys like Harvin anymore. (Who didn't play in that game last year) It will be great because we will shut them up again like we did last year.
Then we will hear how good Texas and McCoy are until we shut them up too.

Bama scares me more than Texas does. At least the Gumps are battle-tested, whereas Texas has played absolutely nobody.

Bias is already a noun. Just a minute, I have to go and feed the dogness.

We'll see.....but I think the Gators will be favoured by most of the media (except Robert Smith, of course). Today's win against FSU and yesterday's lackluster 'Bama performance put us back in the + column, IMO.

Exactly, Texas has played the poopiest defenses and then the media makes McCoy look like a god for throwing 4 td's against Texas A&M. Who exactly is so good on Texas A&M's defense that makes that performance spectactular. At least Florida St. actually has good athletes on their defense we tore up.

BTW, if we play Texas for NC i think we can win with only 20 points based on Big 12 having a lack of defense AGAIN. If we could hold OK to 14 last year we could hold Texas to that little. They have not seen defensive speed like a top notch SEC team has.

Not to hijack this thread, but Texas would absolutely destroy Alabama. Just a really, really bad matchup.
