Bellamy was in or around Athens on a recruiting visit when his vehicle ahd problems. A little later he called home to a coach and mentioned statetroopers coming to talk to him. The coach told him not to worry as the troopers were coming to take him to Athens-Richt had summoned them-got a little power doesn't he? Hope we land Speedy as he is real special but would not be surprised to see Richt pull in Bellamy as he did Orson Charles.
Bellamy's teammate junior Alex "Spiderman" Mut had 7 catches for 176 yard in their first playoff game. The kid is the best high school route runner I have ever seen. He is a Riley Cooper like player but not as quick. He is 6"3 180 and still growing. The difference between he and Riley is Mut is more disciplined at this age. Hope we offer as he will end up with many good offers by June or July. He'll be every bit 6"4 and 190-195 by the time he graduates. Probably the most underrated player in the state-have not seen a corner yet that can cover him. We will see if Jeremy Davis (Miami) can do it this week. Would love to see Jaylen watkins on him this week but Jaylen plays so much offense I'd be surprised to see it-although maybe in a tight situation they'll lock up.

Yeah, in Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina, Tennessee, Louisiana and Alabama, the football coaches have about as much influence as Basketball coaches have in North Carolina and Kentucky.

Bellamy went for 157 against Watkins and Jeremy Davis (Miami) last night in a 24-16 Tarpon victory.
