Do you feed your dog table scraps?

I have a weakness for Dark Chocolate Oranges (whack and unwrap!). I had a Border Collie that took it out of the bag, out of the box, out of the wrapper and ate the whole darn thing. We thought it would kill her, but she lived to be almost 16. She also thought she should get half of every bite we ate. We now have a 10 month old Aussie and we cut up pieces of carrot or sweet potatoes to feed her when we are eating so she gets something healthy instead of table food. Of course, once in a while she gets something else but she really does love her carrots.

Mrs51 will kill me for sure tonight. Just fed Demi Dog a bowl of baby lima beans and rice. Did I mention Demi Dog sleeps on her side of the bed?

My wife and I have had tremendous success with Nutro over the last decade. We tried to switch to a cheaper brand and it gave us all sorts of problems. You can definitely see the difference with raw and/or high quality dog food. Hey, my dog just used a significant amount of "teeth" chewing apart a pen and a set of headphones. Apparently she has other things to take the plaque off of her teeth. But like I said, we give her cow bones to chew on 2x per week. She never chewed her kibble anyway - she's a frenchie and therefore inhales her food.
