It didn't compare because we won [at Florida]. And at the end of the day, that really matters to me. People can be excited and put you on billboards, but in the back of your head, you know that you're not … people aren't calling you "champ." We were champions in Gainesville.

I remember going to Denny's or somewhere in Gainesville and people used to literally have tears in their eyes. Older people, younger people, black people, white people, rich people, poor people, it didn't matter. It was just like everybody had this … always wanted to share their experiences about where they were and what they were doing while the championship was going on. And what it meant to them and things like that.
Ah, Jo. I love you to death, man.

That was a great read and god I love Noah. Always have.

This should be mandatory reading for our current players. Especially Noah's remarks about the NC times. Has Coach D ever let Noah speak to the team formally? I bet he could reach at least a couple of players to help them "get it."

When he is older, in 10+ years, I think he will begin to realize just how precocious he was in his youth. In contrast, consider how many young people have crashed and burned with early success and/or financial fortune.

I love this guy.

Time to list your favorite Noah moments.

I'll start with...Noah snatching the ball away from Vandy coach Kevin Stallings.

No question in my mind. In the first championship year Noah's at the foul line in a conference game. The ref bounces Jo the ball and the camera shows a close up of his face. Suddenly Jo looks up and leans forward and you could read his lips as plain as day, "Corey, COREY, quit f---ing around. FOCUS!" HA ha ha!

That summed it up perfectly.

Jo is awesome...such a high-energy guy...he makes everyone on his team better. I'm not a Bulls fan, but I watch their games just to see him play. He has certainly silenced the critics in the NBA world, that's for sure.
