I wonder how much more cynical he is about the world today vs. during his campaign. I can't imagine the pressure on him from the real rulers and I'm sure he never expected it. I think his dreams have been dashed and he's just hoping to make the best of the terrible situation he's put himself in but doesn't have the guts to get himself out of by standing up to the extraordinary forces at work behind the scenes.

I know a number of former Obama supporters here in NJ who now despise him--though for the opposite reason many conservatives don't like him.

I don't think he ever had a magic touch outside of the fawning media that made him. His "magic touch" included defeating carpetbagger Allan Keyes for a US Senate seat and a very old John McCain for Prez.

He's never run a real business in his life and now he's head of the executive branch. Wow!

Yep. Obama: a political neophyte foisted upon America by the msm. Hope and change, tingling legs, and all that stuff. You know it's bad when your president has less executive experience than Jesse "the body" Ventura and that actor dude in Terminator.
