Default The stats say it all.

The Gators also have scored a touchdown inside the Red Zone just 30 percent of the time, down from 73 percent last year.

WOW! are you kidding me??? I'm happy we're 9-0 but with that type of production vs. quality opponents there will be a very small window for error.

Stats are for losers!

9-0...and working on 10-0!

Stats also say that in the three games before UGA we turned the ball over and only won those games by an average margin of victory of 7.6 ppg. In our last two games v.s. UGA and Vandy, we have not turned the ball over and have win those games by an average margin of 24 ppg.

Stats are an indication of production or lack of. Redzone offense needs to fly. Pick up the tempo and use the speed. Running Tim 3 or 4 times into the LOS when they know he's coming hasn't been that successfull this year. Getting out on the edge has.
Pick up the tempo and turn Timmy loose. No drop back crap.

Stats are only for losers when they are used as excuses after losing. Meyer is a big proponent of using stats.

Statistics can be used to improve prediction of what is going to happen.

Which is extremely useful for people in all walks of life.

Meyer recognizes this, and uses them where they are useful, and doesn't, where they are not.

Doesn't Meyer make many of his decisions based upon the numbers?

His decisions might be solely based on getting win number ten! However that might look...

We've lost 1 game in the last two years, so far. We lost that game by 1 point. We have the nation's longest winning streak. We play in the SEC where this kind of run in nearly impossible. We're ranked #1. We're in the SEC championship game.

We're living in the greatest era of Gator football, right now. This isn't going to last forever. Relax and enjoy it.

Bama has got to be worse. We can't buy a touchdown. Our redzone O is so bad that our FG kicker (Tiffan) is now the all time points scorer at the UA. Atlanta is going to be very interesting.

UF wins 12-9 on a 61 yard FG.

Naaah...9-0 isn't really a stat...it's just a W-L record.

Good point. I do love it, I was just amazed with that stat. They only one that matters is we are 9-0, I should focus more on that.
