Of the uninsured number, in my 20's I had insurance with a $1000 deductible. I had no health conditions that needed to be followed, I didn't get "sick" requiring doctor's visits and I had no spouse or children.

Why not make that plan available to those in their 20s?

Oh, and one other thing: are we going to see M. Moore driving around the Capitol reading the 2000 page health care bill over an ice cream truck speaker to ensure that Congress has heard it? Worked for him in his "Documentary", so where is his outrage now?

Bill, virtually every sentence in that post is bogus. He has been spoon fed by the liberal media since birth.

And 16 million are unemployed by last count. Which do you think is more important? A job? Or health insurance?

Anyone who doesn't think the ultimate goal is single-payer health insurance, that is provided by the government, isn't their ultimate goal is incredibly naive.

Come on Dave, you know the unemployed would rather have health insurance.

Edit: 16 million unemployed. I wonder how many of that 16 million are more concerns over having affordable medical insurance than having a job.

Whether the intent is for everyone to have the exact same policy, down to the last detail, I'm not sure.

But is the goal single payer? Absolutely. Is the public option viewed as a means to that end? Absolutely. Credit the proponents who are honest enough to admit it.

Just look at the jump that's already been made. During his campaign Obama talked about reducing waste and fraud and streamlining health records to reduce the cost of healthcare. Now he's using those things--which will never happen anyway--as a way to pay for ObamaCare. Once they get a foothold with ObamaCare v1.0 they will continue to grow and expand it until it is the only option.

Of course. The Left wants an NHS in the US. I don't think it's even controversial to say that.

NHS = control over your life. Control over what you eat, where you live and how long. Control over who lives, who dies. It is the road to a life like in Cuba.

Example: In Cuba a pregnant woman gets total free health care. But if any test indicates that the fetus maybe (big maybe) have a health issue (as in Tim Tebow in womb) then she is encouraged to abort. If she aborts, it's free. If she chooses not to abort, she loses all health care. Is that not where this train leads?
