Default This would be a filthy defensive class!!!

We could sign this class:

DE: Ronald Powell, Chris Martin, Neiron Ball, Lynden Trail

DT: Leon Orr, Sharrif Floyd

MLB: Jeff Luc

OLB: Jordan Hicks, Tony Jefferson, Gideon Ajagbe

S: Matt Elam, Jordan Haden, Jonathan Dowling, Demar Dorsey

CB: Jaylen Watkins, Joshua Shaw, Lamarcus Joyner, Cody Riggs

ATH: Travon Van

Honorable Mentions:

DE: Owamagbe Odighizuwa, Jackson Jeffcoat

DT: Louis Nix, Darius Cummings, Garrison Smith

LB: Christian Jones, Telvin Smith

CB: John Fulton

S: Nobody

Possible Defections:

LB: Gideon Ajagbe

S: Demar Dorsey

We could win championships for years to come with this defense. Scary thing is that it is not an unrealistic scenario except for Chris Martin and Lamarcus Joyner.

I have to thank Greg Reid, Nick Kasa, Jarvis Jones, Marsalis Teague, and Ray Ray Armstrong among others (feel free to add to the list if I don't remember) for giving us the opportunity to sign a class of this caliber. This would have not been possible without your help. (I don't mention Telfort because what happened to him was tragic.)

Pretty good list, and you are right, that is a sick defensive class. Dowling is a WR at this point, but that could change later. Martin is still a stretch, we are his #2, so if ND continues to tank... Christian Jones seems to still favor FSU even with the issues they have on the field and with coaching turnover. I have no idea what else they could do that would convince him to leave, so he probably ends up there in the end. I would love to get Joyner, and have to believe he would be on the offensive side of the ball. He is a natural game breaker, and as shown in your list above, we are not hurting for CBs. OSU is in front of us for him right now, but he is coming to the FSU game so anything can happen.

You can thank Greg Reid, Ray Ray, Marsalis all you want. I'd much rather have them in O&B than rely on guys who haven't yet played a down.

That said, this could be a defensive class for the ages if all the chips fall in our favor.

Ray Ray Armstrong was never coming here so thats just bad info.

Greg Reid is a star on the rise and probably the most difference making athlete at FSU as a FRESHMAN, so we'd very much like to have had him here though I hope the Gators stomp his guts out when we play them in two weeks.

Marsalis Teague - we'll see someday whether or not that was a real loss, no evidence to suggest he is a star at this level, at least yet.

Interestingly, Nu"Keys" is not as ready for prime time as maybe he thought (or Kiffin thought) and can't seem to get his A** off the bench.

Finally, don't kid yourself generally about Kiffin, he may be a real A**clown of a guy but he is about six or seven guys away from being a real pain in the you know what in the SEC, Meyer has said this himself. No doubt about it, UT is on the rise talent wise and Lame's old man is probably the best D coordinator in the country. They should have beat Alabama, gave us all we wanted and generally have played well above expectations this year (excepting the UCLA loss). The Brown kid at Tailback is a rising star, they need a great QB and they just got one in this recruiting class.

Yeah Ray Ray really liked Miami on and was leaning heavily early on. He convinced Dyron Dye and was trying to get Debose to join them too. You guys (Coach Gonzalez) did a good job getting him.

Ray Ray is a stud, what position is he playing at UM, LB?

Hope he and Dyron have good careers.
