First off, I termed it "humiliated" by virtue of holding them to a mere 14 points. I think they took that as impossible to be done, and we did it. That did not sit well with them.

You may be right about them being for us, but I wander over to soonerfans board now and then since the big game and find that most of them still don't respect us, and certainly don't like us. So I find them in a dilema--true to what you said about UT having 2 MNC's would drive them nuts, and also if WE won another--that would just piss them off since they are in denial about our legitimacy. In the end, I do believe they would be Gator fans that night as they REALLY hate Texas. A LOT.

I would back almost ANYONE against FSU in a BCSCG. UGA vs. FSU... I dunno what I'd do... get drunk and hide in a bomb shelter and hope a nuke fell on the stadium and they both lost.

You remember the dilema we had in 98 NC game? Tennessee vs. FSU? That flat out sucked for me. I hate both. With passion.

I've blocked that game from my memory... permenantly. I have no idea what you are talking about.

Stoops isn't under pressure. His Heisman QB got hurt and the freshman who replaced him has struggled. He has done a great job at OU. If he was run off they would go in the toilet. His predecessors sucked. Barry Switcher was a cheater.

Not true about the nick name being sarcastic. He got that nickname early in his career winning 3 bowl games including a NC and beating texas in those first 4 years ... since then he's had some pretty big losses but the nickname came before that.

total bs about him getting a pass. they had title hopes from day one this year.

even with a healthy bradford they only had 3 pts at halftime against byu in their opener.

That one title by OU against f$u was a long time ago. The natives are getting restless in Norman.
