You really think that is the reason? Tallahassee and Bobby Bowden have a magical relationship. People there love him. It has nothing to do with "not knowing the program." Everyone at FSU absolutely loves that program, some people love it more than anything else.

To most people in Tally though, "the program" is more than winning, andn "knowing the program" and supporting the program are separated. To most people in Tally, Bobby is part of that "program."

Maybe its something that you have to be an FSU student to understand... There is a difference between knowing we need a new head coach, and wanting to deface everything that is Bobby Bowden.

I don't "think" that is the reason. That is what has been relayed to me by a number of people i know who update statuses on facebook saying people who want bobby to leave should die. And these people were diehard bama, gator, auburn, and georgia fans 3 years ago in high school. There is even a group on campus with most of these goons, I cant remember exactly what it was called who attended the Bobby love fest game a couple weeks ago and got on TV. There is a fine line between supporting the program and supporting a person. I agree with your last statement but most of these people are in love with the legend, not the team.
