When I saw just the highest and lowest States were listed in this USA Today Snapshot, I was then curious just where all the 50 States may be ranked. Would California not be ranked in the top part of the list? And I think Florida may be near the middle..

I'm searching for a link now. These USA Today snapshots are just little blurbs that are posted on the lower left hand corner on the front page of each section every day. This was on Tuesday's paper, main section, front page 1A. Each USA Today section, Main, Sports and Money etc, all have their little snapshots.
In very small print at the bottom of the Snapshot posted above is:
"Sources: Williams Institute, Gallup Daily Tracking survey."
"Anne R. Carey and Sam Ward, USA Today"

I would be a lot more concerned over murderers, rapists, con artists, and other assorted crooks than I would over LGBTs. In fact the LGBT community may be less inclined to wreak havoc on our country than are our elected leaders.

I don't think, I know. I have access to insurance institute research which indicates that gay men are more likely to be sick with rare diseases due to the effects of AIDS. Gay men have a life expectancy 20 years shorter than straight men. Why do you suppose that is? Also more gay men are overwhelmed by medical costs and disability. More gays are on Medicaid than straights. The poverty rate is higher for gays. There are more uninsured gays. The unemployment rate is higher for gays. The availability of programs and services for these men are concentrated in the larger cities; therefore it follows that there would be a higher concentration of gay men there.

For the gays I would say the Washington Monument has something to do with it or possibly the Lyndon "Johnson" Monument... As for lesbians???....
